Very nice and clean room. Comfortable bed. The whole hotel was very nice and had a nice atmosphere. We only stayed one night driving down from Sweden to Italy and it was ideal for that purpose since it was only a short drive from the motorway so it was easy to get off and back on track traveling the next morning. Although beeing located so close to the motorway it was still in town and you did not hear or see the motorway in any way. Good breakfast. There was a parkinggarage under the hotel wich made it supereasy to park. You had to pay extra for parking but that was so worth it. It felt very saft and we left some of our luggage in the car over night. Just backed the car up closely against the wall. We were pleasantly suprised by this hotel and can gladly reccomend it!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, we did end up paying a bit more to be on the inner side, looking into an internal garden. These are usually very noisy when there are many guests, but the staff made sure there are no such guests outside after 10, so this was a really nice surprise. Not that the front was very busy, but there was some traffic throughout the day, so definitely more noise that a room looking in the back yard. The breakfast was awesome. We are looking forward to visit this one again one day. Perhaps when the kid gets a bit older.

Great customer service makes a good stay a great stay- many more expensive hotels could learn from the Dorint Basel City. Room: Well equipped with tea/coffee/water and complimentary mini bar. Comfortable bed. Food and drink: Breakfast was fantastic, great selection of hot and cold food which was kept well stocked and clean. Nice little bar. Only had a drink and breakfast. Didn't eat dinner but the menu looked nice and fairly priced.

The parking facilities are excellent, ensuring a hassle-free experience for guests with cars. The room was comfortable and contemporary, offering a pleasant environment for relaxation. Additionally, everyone spoke excellent English, which made communication smooth and enjoyable.

The hotel is well connected to tourist attractions by the public transportation. It is a bit old, but clean and spacious. It has an on-site parking, which is very convenient. The breakfast is excellent. The true asset of the hotel, however, is its staff, very friendly, helpful and polite. We had an incident related to the noise coming from the restaurant, and the staff, including the manager, resolved it quickly and to our full satisfaction (thanks a lot, Julia!). We will surely stay in the same hotel next time.
